Investing in silver?

Hey brilliant minds of 2+2, thoughts on investing small amount in silver and holding it? Just got into coin collecting and plan to purchase silver rounds as a store of value. Thoughts? Ugh planning to hold prolly 20-40 years..... feel price of silver will go up as its a finite resource and very much demanded. Just wanted to hear what people thought here as I feel 2+2 brings out a lot of intelligent more sophisticated minds than myself haha. I plan to buy x amount each month (small amount) but plan to buy continuously so if the price of silver drops, I will probably just buy more than normal as I believe the price will continue to rise. Just wanted to hear thoughts of investing in silver? Have my 401k going and a roth so I just feel this is a nice way to diversify a small amount of portfolio into precious metal.
