One of the most frustrating things about Wordle is how long you have to wait to play again. The NYT Wordle has been deliberately designed to mean you can only play one a day. With Wordle Unlimited, you can play in infinite mode.

What is Infinite mode?

Infinite mode is available on various Wordle Unlimited sites. Every time you finish a round, another 5 letter word will be generated. Simply click/tap ‘Play Again’ and another game will start. There is no countdown, no maximum amount of games you can play and you do not have to come back tomorrow. You can play as many as you like.
Each game will have a new Wordle Unlimited word, these are selected from the Wordle Unlimited word list. This usually is the same or very similar to the official Wordle solution list of around 2,300 common English words. Some sites may have larger word lists.

Why should I use Infinite mode?

Practice

To get better at Wordle strategically, you need to practice! Only playing one game a day means you can only play 365 games in a year. Whilst this will help you build up your intuition, it will take ages to improve. Infinite mode means you can play dozens of games in one go. Try out new starting words, Hard Mode or focus on specific groups of words.

Test new strategies

If you’ve read that STARE is a better starting word than CRANE (or vice versa), you simply won’t be able to test this theory with only one game a day. Infinite mode will let you play twenty/thirty games in a row using your starting word. This is the only way to get useful feedback.
Use in classes/groups

If teachers are using Wordle as a vocabulary activity, they won’t want to wait 24 hours between activities. Infinite mode means they can play multiple games within one lesson. They could play 5 warm up games with their students.

All of these are web based so you don’t need to sign up or download anything. Simply visit the website, play a game and click ‘restart’. Another Wordle Unlimited word will appear instantly.

Does the NYT Wordle have Infinite mode?

No. The NYT Wordle has intentionally no Infinite mode. The whole point of the game is that you can only play one game a day. This creates a sense of scarcity and makes people look forward to playing. The WordleBot analysis, streak and emoji grid all rely on there being only one game a day.
The Wordle Unlimited Infinite mode is not a competition to the NYT version. Most people will play the daily NYT game and then play Wordle Unlimited.

What isn’t available?
